You need to get out in order to keep Joe working for us!

My name is Patricia Delaney and I am a retired teacher after 41 years of teaching. I taught in Simsbury for 6 years and in the city of Hartford for 35 years. I used to put pictures of Waldo around my room tucked in books, the science center the reading nook, children’s desks in an effort to excite my children to read. Every morning I would ask Where in the world is Waldo? You may remember the book. 

My question to you is Where in the world is 

Joe Capodiferro? 

-You will find him in the town council chambers conducting meetings in our behalf. 

-You will find him with the Board of education trying to work out a fair budget for the town.

-You will find him at the Town Senior Center holding meetings every other month listening to their concerns and needs such as air conditioning/ roofing project, buses for seniors, sidewalks, budget concerns, and e-bikes. 

-You will find him serving senior meals. 

-You Will find him looking for grant monies and trying to scour up state funding for town projects

- You will find him pushing hard for funding for projects like the new splash pad and pickle ball courts at Westwoods and lighting for town sports complex!

-You Will find him at many town events to talk to you to help him keep a pulse on the needs for our town. 

-You find him taking care of his great family and dear brothers. 

So, as you can see a vote for Joe is a vote for you! A vote for Joe is your voice being heard.! A vote for Joe is getting the job done! A vote for Joe is a vote for common sense! 

But you can’t stay home on Election Day. You need to get out in order to keep Joe working for us!  It’s the least we can do!
