Chair’s Corner

Greetings! My name is Donna Mambrino, and it is my privilege to welcome you to the website of the Farmington Republican Town Committee (FRTC).

Recently, I was honored to be chosen by my fellow Republicans to serve as Chair of the FRTC. I have been an active member of the FRTC since 2006, serving on Farmington’s Human Relations Commission and as a Justice of the Peace. In the most recent election, I was elected as an alternate to the Zoning Board of Appeals.

As Chair, I am committed to strengthening the organization by growing membership, increasing engagement, and supporting strong Republican candidates at every level of government. I am also dedicated to encouraging new voices and broader participation from our community.

For 60 years prior to the last election, Farmington was led by Republicans. During that time, our town maintained one of the lowest tax rates in the Farmington Valley, and our schools were consistently recognized among the best in Connecticut. Our public services, including support for seniors, recreation, and public work, have long been strong and effective. Farmington Republicans remain committed to preserving that tradition of responsible governance and community excellence.

Looking ahead, our success depends on greater civic participation and a stronger, more active Town Committee. We must continue to raise awareness about the importance of fiscal responsibility, transparency, and accountability in government.
